Ichiro Iwasaki

Iwasaki began as a product designer at the Sony Design Center. In 1995 after living for a short time in Italy he started his own studio in Tokyo, the Iwasaki Design Studio. Iwasakis designs range from products in the fields of electrical equipment and mobile phones to utilitarian objects. Iwasaki's products have won numerous national and international awards including: the design award Germany, the iF Product Design Award, the Red Dot Design Award, as well as the Japanese G-mark special award. Ichiro Iwasaki teaches at the Art University Tokyo.
