Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Julian Pastorino and Cecilia Suarez, born in 1970 and 1971 respectively, received Industrial Design degrees in 1996 from the University of Buenos Aires. Their professional experience in Buenos Aires includes intense activity in graphic design, packaging, product design, merchandising, interior design, restaurant and store design, and trade fair stand design. In 1997 they relocated to Italy and began a series of collaborations with various studios in Milan, among which were the central studio of Alessi, Matteo Thun and Mario Bellini. Partners in work and in life, in 2001 they founded their own studio, working in projects of graphic design, lighting, product and furniture design. Since the opening of their studio they have collaborated with companies which include Casamania by Frezza, Frezza, Koziol and Fontana Arte. From 2001 to 2003 they participated in Hall group, exhibiting projects in experimentation in Milan and New York during the Salone del Mobile and ICFF, respectively. Other notable events in which they have participated include: Alessi for Kids in 1996, the Droog design in Fabrica workshop in 1999, a Design Direction course at the Milan Domus Academy and a Master in Marketing and Communications course at the Milan Genesio institute.
